Hi all,
well as you all might remember, or maybe not, I tried to use team talk on my 8 year old computer, and I got the failure to initiate sound system dialogue, plus messing around with it made the computer freeze up, calling for a cold reboot. Well, I might give it a go on this new computer at some point, just out of curiosity, to see if it would work, but I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any older people on team talk, or maybe better, older blind people who have their own team talk servers? by older, I mean people in their mid 40's and up.

this might soundf stupid but, what is team talk. I tryed downloading it because people i know use it but couldn't get it to work. Can anyone give me specifics on it and how to chat with people.
well, it's sort of like ventrilo, where you have to have an ip address of the server, although some people say you just need the server name and port number, but since I couldn't get it to work, I can't find out how it works myself. Even if I downloaded it on this hp, I don't have any servers to go to. Hope someone can help you,

Well, there's always Venison on the TBRN teamTalk server, but I don't think he'd exactly clasify as he's a very un-standard older man.
how do you mean, a very unstandard older man? I was just looking for older people in general, but since I had a pretty fair time of it on quicknotes last night, maybe I should sort of forget the age thing.
Venison; he's on TBRN on Tuesday and Friday's. From what I've heard him say on his show, he's old--but he seems very young at heart....you can download archives at tbrn.net.
how do you gets servers for teamtalk or do you get the one that has them built in already.
